Intergovernmental commissions

Intergovernmental Commissions on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation (IGC) with the countries of Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America are the core mechanisms for the development and coordination of bilateral economic relations. The key objective of the IGC's activities is to create long-term stable relations based on cooperation in such fields as trade, economy, finance, investments, technologies, transport and energy. Throughout the year the Department for International Financial Relations elaborates the Ministry's standing on key financial and economic issues of the IGC, forms reference materials, analytical notes, and formulates positions corresponding to the issues of IGC events events’ framework. * Events’ management and technical assistance for the Russian side of Intergovernmental Commissions’ is carried out by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.
